Research Focus
The goal of this laboratory is to develop and validate novel laboratory models of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes that give researchers a look at a patient in a Petri dish.
About this Lab
The Epigenetics & Nuclear Reprogramming laboratory investigates the epigenetic basis of nutritional programming that may occur in utero and contribute to later in life diseases such as obesity, hypertension and type 2 diabetes. Members of the lab also investigate methods that reprogram the epigenome in ways that restore developmental and differentiation potential, and they explore the epigenetic basis of liposarcoma differentiation.
