Research Focus
The Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics Lab primarily focuses on the use of molecular imaging to investigate cancer metabolism in relation to other systemic/chronic disorders, clinical evaluation of novel radiopharmaceuticals in theranostics, gaining deeper understanding into dynamic biological effects of radiation and developing strategies to enhance its therapeutic efficacy and to limit toxicity.
About this Lab
Our lab is committed to the concept of precision oncology. The overall goal of our lab is to optimize the role of diagnostic nuclear medicine in cancer management including the use of PET/CT in directing chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy and response assessment. We will advance the science of theranostics and other combination therapies and plan to seamlessly integrate them into clinical practice.
