Research Interests
Dr. Spring is a T32 Fellow in the Ingestive Behavior Laboratory under the mentorship of Dr. Corby Martin. Her research focuses on lifestyle interventions to improve physical activity, dietary intake, and healthy weight among young children (ages 2–5) and their families. She also investigates early childhood movement behaviors, including physical activity, sedentary behavior, and motor skill development, to inform evidence based prevention strategies. Dr. Spring has a particular interest in leveraging innovative technologies to expand the reach and accessibility of interventions that promote healthy behaviors in early childhood.
