Research Interests
Dr. Fernández-Verdejo’s major research interests are the effects of physical activity on obesity and its related comorbidities. This includes the influence of physical activity on energy expenditure and energy intake to regulate energy balance and body weight. Dr. Fernández-Verdejo is also interested in the weight-independent effect of physical activity on metabolic health.
