Emeritus Professors
Pennington Biomedical’s talent base includes numerous professors emerita, world-renowned scientists who have retired but maintain their ties to the Research Center and continue to contribute to scientific studies. Four of the former faculty members served as executive director for the center. Two are among the most highly cited researchers in the world. One is a past president of the World Obesity Federation and a current member of its board of trustees. Another is the director of the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolic Disease for the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. These scientists lend their unparalleled expertise and advice to researchers at Pennington Biomedical and worldwide.
