BATON ROUGE – The 23rd Annual Irene W. Pennington Wellness Day for Women will focus on mind and body wellness by bringing back popular health screenings and offering a variety of great activities. Women, 18 and older, are invited to participate in the event’s 10+ free screenings, including a total lipid panel, glucose screenings, EKGs, several cancer screenings, and many more. In addition, this year’s event will feature a 1-mile Walk for Wellness around the lake, fitness stations, educational talks, hands-only CPR demonstrations and even entry-level Tai Chi classes.

Upon entry, all participants will receive a Passport to Wellness Card. As women participate in the activities, they will receive stamps on their card to get a prize.
