||The Department of Preventive Medicine at Pennington Biomedical Research Center is offering a non-paid trainee opportunity available to an undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate college student with an interest in data management and analysis.
This trainee experience will provide exposure to clinical research trials. Trainee will assist with data management from ongoing and previously completed studies by performing data quality checks of study charts, run validation programs and listing to identify missing and incomplete or invalid data, and some date entry and filing. The Trainee will interact and collaborate with other projects and specialty team members to support the maintenance and closure of a project and to ensure consistent and cohesive data handling. Must be detail oriented, organized, reliable, and have willingness to learn and teach. Trainee will gain diverse experience and exposure to clinical studies, protocols, and implementation. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel are preferred. Trainee may earn up to 3-6 hours of curriculum credit; student enrollment requirements apply.
