Research Interests:

Interaction of melanocortin and leptin signaling

Arcuate nucleus specific leptin resistance and inhibitory leptin signaling molecules.

Central leptin signaling pathways.

The leptin signaling system in the dorsomedial hypothalamus and sympathetic connection to peripheral tissues.

Interaction of the leptin signaling system in the arcuate nucleus and dorsomedial hypothalamus with emphasis on leptin receptor expressing galanin neurons.
