Research
Interests: Dr. Steven Smith's areas of research interest are adipocyte cellular biology, preadipocyte differentiation and the links between fatness and disease risk. He also works on the mechanisms that determine inter-individual differences in substrate utilization, i.e. fat vs. carbohydrate oxidation.
