Macadamia Pesto

Makes about 12 - 2 Tbsp servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil
  • ½ cup macadamia nuts (can also use almonds or pistachios)
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients except the parmesan cheese to a food processor and pulse until smooth.
  2. Add the parmesan cheese and pulse a couple of times until incorporated
