"Energy Bites"

Each serving (one bite) is 97 kcals, 2.6g fat, 9.5g carbohydrate, 2.0g fiber, 2.6g protein

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Quick Oats
  • ½ cup Almond Butter
  • ¼ cup Unsweetened Cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup Protein powder of choice (we used unflavored)
  • ½ cup Ground Flax seed
  • ¼ cup Semisweet Chocolate chips (mini size if possible)
  • 1/8 cup Unsweetened Coconut flakes or chips
  • ¼ cup Almonds, chopped
  • ¼ cup Dried Cranberries
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Molasses

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Form mixture into small balls about 1 tbsp. each.
  3. Place bites into a container lined with parchment or wax paper and layer bites with paper in between layers to prevent sticking.
  4. Store at room temperature for immediate use or refrigerate. You can also freeze the bites for future use.
