COVID-19 & Obesity Research
COVID-19 and Obesity, Diabetes, Heart Disease, and Cancer
The link between illness and death from COVID-19 and underlying chronic medical conditions such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease is clear. But there is still much to be understood as to the mechanisms behind the connection. Rigorous research and analysis that reveals those connections in detail will help us all better prevent and treat the disease in future. Important publications and work leading the way in this effort will be reported on this web page. Please contact us at news@pbrc.edu with any information you would like to add to the community of scientists working to answer these important questions.
