The goal of the CGM Peptide research study is to measure insulin resistance in a wide range of people.
About the Study
The study consists of 1 visit to the Pennington Biomedical outpatient clinic and 1 24-hour stay at the Pennington Biomedical inpatient clinic.
Study Design
- 3 study visits, including 1 screening visit and 1 overnight stay
- Weight, height and blood pressure
- Medical history and physical exam
- Glucose test
- Blood draw
- Glucose monitor
- Metabolic chamber
- DXA Scan (Dual X-ray Absorptiometry)

Study Qualifications
- Be between the ages of 18-65
- Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 20-35 calculate your BMI
- Not be diagnosed with diabetes

Study Duration
Participation in the study will last approximately 3 days.Compensation
