Diabetes/PreventionStudy Purpose
The GLEAM research study aims to learn more about how hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) affects the brain.
About the Study
Eligible participants will be given a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) receiver and sensors. Participants will be instructed on correct use of the CGM unit and will be asked to wear the CGM system continuously for 28 days. Sensors will be replaced weekly by study staff members. Participants will also have two brain scans in an MRI machine, one at the beginning of the study and one two weeks later.

Study Qualifications
- Be 18 – 60 years old
- Have Type 1 diabetes and be on insulin therapy
