DYNAMMO Study

Diabetes/Prevention

Study Purpose

1 in 4 people in the United States do not know they have type 2 diabetes. Pre-diabetes, a condition that may lead to type 2 diabetes, can develop overtime without any symptoms, making disease treatment and management difficult.

The DYNAMMO research study aims to understand what causes pre-diabetes, with the goal of discovering new options to prevent and treat type 2 diabetes.

About the Study

Once enrolled, participants will be randomly assigned to either an exercise or standard of care program. Both groups require 2 overnight stays in the Pennington Biomedical Inpatient Unit.
