SOUTH LOUISIANA FLOOD INFORMATION & RESOURCES
The weather events in early August were unprecedented. The devastation so many are experiencing in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas is nearly incomprehensible. Below is a list of information and resources for those impacted and for so many of you who have reached out in support of your friends, neighbors and strangers.
FEMA Applications
If you have suffered damage and have been displaced by the recent floods, it is imperative that you sign up for disaster assistance at FEMA’s website immediately, DisasterAssistance.gov. (Pennington Biomedical employees: When you register, you will be given a FEMA identification number which you should forward to Diane Gardner - diane.gardner@pbrc.edu so that we may report the information as requested. Please contact your supervisor if you have any questions or need any assistance.)
