Study Purpose

The purpose of the Whoa Baby Phase 2 research study is to test whether modified infant formula instructions improve infant formula preparation.

About the Study

Studies have shown most infants will consume at least one bottle of formula in their lives and recent research demonstrates that babies are often overfed. This may be because of unclear instructions on how to prepare powdered infant formula.

The Whoa Baby Phase 2 research study will test whether modified infant formula instructions improve formula preparation.

Study Design

Participants who qualify for this research study will come to Pennington Biomedical to complete one study visit by preparing infant formula according to the directions provided.

The following will be completed for each participant:

  • Height and weight measurements
  • An individual interview with a trained staff member to collect general information about you and your experience with infant formula preparation
  • Infant formula preparation

All study-related procedures will be provided at no cost to you. You may also be provided your results at the end of the study upon request.

Study Qualifications

You may qualify for this study if:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are willing to participate in one visit at Pennington Biomedical
  • You did not participate in the Whoa Baby Phase 1 research study

Study Duration

1 study visit

Compensation

Earn up to $25 for participation.
