Study Purpose
The purpose of this research study is to determine if rice fortified with iron will increase iron levels in women.
About the Study

Attention Ladies: Have you been told your iron level is low?

If so, you may be eligible to participate in a general health study at Pennington Biomedical Research Center. This research study hopes to determine if the consumption of iron-fortified rice by women with iron deficient anemia, results in a greater increase in new red blood cells and iron stores as compared to standard rice.
