Study Purpose
The purpose of this research study is to determine how increasing the amount of Omega 3 in your diet can improve physical fitness, body composition and other factors influencing overall health.
About the Study

Does increasing Omega 3 in your diet improve health?

You have probably heard that the food you eat impacts your health. There is evidence that a diet high in Omega 3 can impact your physical fitness level, hunger and other health indicators, including how you respond to stress. Pennington Biomedical is looking for individuals to participate in a nutrition research study exploring the role of Omega 3 on your health.

Study Design

Number of visits:

  • 1 Screening visit
  • 8 Clinic visits

Study procedures:

  • Exercise tests
  • Cognitive/Emotion tests
  • Appetite tests
Participants will eat study food for breakfast and dinner at Pennington Biomedical Research Center for 10 weeks. Lunch and weekend meals will be packed to go for 10 weeks. All study-related meals and procedures will be provided at no cost to participants.

Earn up to $700 for participation.
