The Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a research facility of the Louisiana State University System, is seeking a Post Award Manager. Responsibilities: This position supports the various post award activities of sponsored project administration. The essential functions include: reviewing awards for compliance with institutional policies and governing regulations; assisting with clinical trial budgeting process and negotiating contracts with sponsors, as necessary. This position will liaison between the pre-award office and fiscal operations. Strong computer and Internet skills are necessary along with excellent communication and analytical skills. Must have the ability to coordinate and direct multiple projects simultaneously and to interact with individuals at multiple levels and disciplines. Proven ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines desired. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Bachelorâ€™s degree required. Accounting experience required. Detailed knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs), Office of Management and Budget Circulars (A-21, A-110, A-133), is highly desirable. Preferred degree discipline is Business Administration or Accounting.
