| Description: The Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a research facility of the Louisiana State University System, is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for the Antioxidant and Gene Regulation Laboratory. The successful candidate will receive training in endocrinology and molecular biology with a focus on obesity, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. | Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or M.D. Preferred Qualifications: Strong motivation for profess in advanced academic career. Research experience in the study of adipose tissue function or atherosclerosis is preferred. A skill in cell culture, Western blot, qRT-PCR, enzyme assay, gene delivery by virus will be an advantage. |
