WELCOME TO THE EXPECTING SUCCESS STUDY
Welcome to Pennington Biomedical’s and Woman’s Hospital research study; Personalized Management of Body Weight during Pregnancy! The Expecting Success study is funded by the NIDDK (National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases) and is part of a National Initiative that includes 6 other research studies across the United States and Puerto Rico and a coordinating center in Washington, DC.
Drs. Leanne Redman and Corby Martin direct this research study. Together with Dr. Karen Elkind-Hirsch and Dr. Jeffrey Breaux, FACOG from Woman’s Hospital, we plan to enroll 306 pregnant women over the next 2.5 years.
