Study Name Eucommia II
Study Type Blood Pressure
Study Purpose The Pennington Biomdeical Research Center needs volunteers for a 6-week blood pressure study. If eligible, you will be given an herbal medication or placebo for 2 weeks.
Study Design

- 3 eligibility screening visits to check blood pressure

- An ambulatory BP monitor will be worn for 24 hours

- 6 other weekly clinic visits

Study Qualifications

- Age: 18-70

- Normal to Overweight (BMI: <40) calculate your BMI

- No chronic disease

- Non-smoker

- Some medications allowed

Study Duration 6 weeks
Compensation Participants will be compensated $100 at study completion
